We are seeking a skilled and strategic Software Developer to join our IT team. In this role, you will analyze, design, and implement complex systems solutions that support critical business operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong SQL, PHP and full stack, .net development skills, Visual Studio skills and working knowledge of web services and modern data tooling. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Software Developer will provide technical support under the guidance of the IS Manager or other designated managers. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering sustainable, scalable information system solutions. The Software Developer will evaluate existing computer systems and processes, then design and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Acting as a bridge between business and IT, this position requires a deep understanding of both organizational needs and technical capabilities to ensure effective, integrated solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide technical support and maintain ERP, manufacturing, and quality applications; assist with help desk requests as needed
  • Serve as the primary IT liaison, partnering with business units and cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions
  • Analyze business processes and system performance to identify gaps, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements
  • Lead requirements gathering, define deliverables, develop test plans, manage user acceptance testing, and oversee production rollouts
  • Prepare detailed specifications and recommendations for system conversions, upgrades, and integrations; develop programs to link software and data
  • Streamline operations by automating repetitive processes and designing efficient IT solutions
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues impacting applications; manage and optimize databases
  • Train and support users to ensure proper utilization of software applications and successful adoption of new solutions
  • Implement cybersecurity controls in compliance with CSAM standards; safeguard organizational data and maintain confidentiality

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; 3-5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing information solutions
  • Proficient in MS SQL (maintenance, updates, installation), Visual Studio skills, ERP applications; database administration, and programming languages (SQL, VB, PHP, C#/C++); strong knowledge of hardware, software, infrastructure, and industry standards
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear terms; skilled in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and delivering high-quality recommendations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, develop goals and plans, and organize work effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, staff, and management; able to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
