Associate Software Developer - HP Anyware Endpoints System Team (Co-op position) Description - Associate Software Developer - Anyware Endpoints System Team (Co-op position) HP Anyware is the inventor of the PCoIP remote display protocol and developed the Engineering Emmy-Award-winning HP Anyware to deliver the best virtual and remote desktop experience in the world. Our exciting growth and continuing success means that we are looking for an energetic co-op student (Engineering or Computer Science or Physics) to join our Software Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the development and testing of HP Anyware software components for our Anyware family of products and to assist in modernizing our development and build environment.

As part of the team, you will help shape how desktop computing is delivered in enterprise environments. Examples of work done by our past co-ops: Worked with the Scrum team to implement an internal test machine reservation system. Created automated tests for the CICD pipeline.

Responsibilities: Develop and maintain software/CICD components related to HP Anyware Software. Engage in software development using Python for test automation. Be an active member of a Scrum team and to learn about agile software development.

Learn how we implement DevOps culture at HP; our system team works with various development teams to provide continuous integration and delivery by providing the necessary tools and systems. Develop and test components within a virtual desktop infrastructure. Learn how we automate our infrastructure to provide continuous testing with industry standard tools like Terraform, Packer and Ansible.

Requirements: Students enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent. Students who have completed at least 2 academic years. Students who love to program software and have an interest in software services.

Students who have experience with cloud environments, such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure. Students who enjoy problem solving and have good analytical skill. Individuals who work well with others, think outside the box and see raising the bar as part of the daily routine.

Other Information: Preference will be given to Co-op Students currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program. Please upload a copy of your unofficial transcript with your application. 4-month or 8-month (preferable) work term.

Start date: September 2025 Full-time with the possibility of extension and/or permanent career positions The typical base pay range for this co-op role is $3,700 to 5,000 per month.
