Job description

Product Manager (2 Openings: Reverse Logistics OR Mobile Activation)

Are you excited by the challenge of modernizing reverse logistics OR the challenge of evolving how we sell Mobile Phones across Canada?

Best Buy Canada has two roles open, one focused on Reverse Logistics and the other in mobile activation.

In the reverse logistics role, you will lead cross-functional product teams to support the transformation of our reverse logistics, enabling operational efficiency and improved customer experiences across our ecosystem.

In mobile activation role, you will work closely with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to prioritize and deliver experiences that improve the mobile phone activation experience for customers and front-line employees.

We practice a remote-first working model, with opportunities to collaborate at our head office in beautiful Vancouver, BC for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

Join us in supporting the future forward transformation of our organization as a product manager!

Role A: reverse logistics - what you'll do:

  • Deliver on the product vision and roadmap for Reverse Logistics.
  • Lead an agile, cross-functional delivery team to build scalable and reliable platforms that support reverse logistics and returns operations end-to-end.
  • Serve as the functional domain expert in reverse logistics, connecting technical implementation with business context and operational goals.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to engage, influence, and build strong working relationships.
  • Contribute to the broader reverse-logistics modernization journey, unlocking value from new platforms and capabilities and supporting new initiatives.

What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience as a product manager delivering software products in complex operational domains (retail operations, logistics, supply chain, or post-purchase experiences).
  • Hands-on familiarity with reverse logistics concepts (returns, repairs, return-to-vendor, write-offs/disposition, shipping) and how these connect across systems and operations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional agile teams and delivering iterative value through well-shaped roadmaps, backlogs, and clear outcome measures.
  • Strong ability to partner with technology, business, and operations teams, translate needs into product requirements, and make effective trade-offs across scope, timeline, and value.

Role B: mobile activation

what you'll do:

  • Deliver on the product roadmap for the Mobile Phone Activations product.
  • Partner with engineering and delivery teams in an agile environment to deliver scalable and reliable experiences that support Mobile Phone Activations end-to-end.
  • Partner closely with operational stakeholders to understand pain points and translate business needs into well-defined product backlog items and actionable outcomes for delivery teams.
  • Serve as the functional domain expert in Mobile Phone Activations, connecting technical implementation with business context and operational goals.
  • Contribute to the end-to-end mobile activation evolution, unlocking value from integrated carrier, financing, and fulfillment capabilities while enabling new customer and associate-led activation experiences.

What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience as a product manager delivering software products in complex, customer-facing ecosystems, ideally within telecom, retail, or transactional platforms.
  • Experience with telecom activation workflows, including plan selection, provisioning, and real-time transaction processing across multiple carrier partners.
  • Hands-on experience designing customer and front-line associate experiences, balancing self-serve capabilities with assisted selling in high-volume environments.
  • Experience working with systems that handle sensitive customer data (PII), with a strong understanding of privacy, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong operational mindset, with familiarity in piloting & iterations for front-line associates.

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Remote-first work environment.
  • Employee discounts on awesome tech from day one.
  • Flexible health benefits and wellness program.
  • TFSA and RRSP programs.
