Location: Woodstock, CT
Salary: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

These are the qualifications that matter.

  • Associate's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of CNC machining, CNC programming, or manufacturing engineering experience
  • Strong experience with Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar CAM software
  • Advanced GD&T knowledge per ASME Y14.5
  • Experience with CMMs, precision measurement systems, and inspection methodologies
  • Proven experience with fixture design, tooling development, and process qualification
  • Strong project management, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement skills

Preferred:

  • Medical device manufacturing experience (ISO 13485/FDA)
  • Injection molding tooling and mold maintenance experience
  • Experience with process validation, SPC, Lean Manufacturing, and precision bar stock machining

Key responsibilities include evaluating and implementing CNC machining technologies, developing validated machining processes, supporting IQ/OQ/PQ activities, and establishing inspection and metrology systems for precision medical components. The Manufacturing Engineer will also support CNC programming, fixture and tooling design, GD&T application, process improvement, supplier technical oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives.
