Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned
Guidewire Policy Architect
with over 15 years of experience in enterprise insurance platforms, specifically Guidewire PolicyCenter. The ideal candidate will be a certified expert in Guidewire and possess deep architectural knowledge to lead full-suite implementations, upgrades, and cloud transitions. This role demands strategic thinking, hands-on technical leadership, and the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and design scalable solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter, including integration with ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and Producer Engage.
Lead end-to-end implementations and upgrades, including on-prem to cloud transitions and version upgrades to Guidewire 10+.
Define and enforce best practices for Guidewire configuration, customization, and integration.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
Drive adoption of Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) and digital products including Jutro, APIs, and mobility solutions.
Provide technical leadership in data migration, reporting, and analytics.
Participate in Guidewire certification upgrades and ensure team compliance with latest standards.
Mentor junior architects and developers, and contribute to capability building within the Guidewire practice.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years of experience in enterprise software architecture, with at least 10 years in Guidewire implementations.
Guidewire Certified in PolicyCenter (additional certifications in ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, or DataHub are a plus).
Proven experience in full-suite Guidewire implementations and cloud adoption frameworks.
Strong understanding of Guidewire product models, rules engine, and integration frameworks.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Swagger, and PCF files.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and SAFe frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Guidewire Jutro framework and digital portals.
Exposure to BPaaS operations and customer service transformation.
Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing frameworks (e.g., MAGIX).
Advantage-level Guidewire partner experience is a plus.
