THE WORK
We are seeking an Level 4 Associate Manager to lead a Ground Software Agile Product team supporting multiple OPIR (Overhead Persistent Infrared) programs. Must have an active secret clearance, location is either Boulder, CO or Longmont, CO.
In this position you will:
Be a part of the OPIR ground segment program. We will be providing the next generation ground system - an open architecture/open framework system that will provide the customer with the flexibility to meet the demands of a rapidly changing environment.
Lead a SAFE Agile Product team of 15-20 individual contributors in support of product team execution whose primary focus is on the design, development, and testing of a combined hardware/software solution for operational delivery.
Assist the existing leadership team with vetting, hiring, staffing and building strong teams.
You are a passionate leader, someone who loves a challenge and always rises to the occasion to ensure success of those around them. You embrace modern development practices and insist that others do as well. They will be a self-starting leader, adapting to new tools/processes and will be eager to introduce automation when necessary. They communicate well and enjoy working with others in a collaborative environment.
This is an MID-SR CAREER (level 4) ROLE where candidates typically require 5+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.
