The Technical Part:
  • Associate Degree in Electromechanical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, with relevant hands-on experience as a Control Technician or Automation Technician.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA/EMA regulations, and 21 CFR Part 1
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English (verbal/ written)
  • Shift: 12-hour and according to business needs.
    • 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Experience in:
    • Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation platforms
    • Familiarity with DeltaV, FactoryTalk, SCADA/DCS/BAS systems
    • Basic networking or database exposure
    • CMMS experience (e.g., Maximo)

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to all facilities, utilities, and operations equipment - automated and computerized systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ladder logic programs, drives, motion systems, pneumatic, electric, and smart electronic devices.
  • Provide technical support during installation, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, maintenance, qualification, and upgrade for new and existing computerized systems in Manufacturing and Utilities Areas (systems include but are not limited to PLCs, HMI, DeltaV, FactoryTalk, SCADA, DCS/BAS, communication interfaces, networking, printers, report engines, databases, and MES systems - training provided on systems you haven't used before).
  • Maintain all computer-based software of automated facilities/utilities/operations equipment updated, and support other tasks related to the Automation System.
  • Help maintain automated systems' software and documentation, and contribute to the CMMS spare parts/maintenance planning process.
  • Write and review SOPs and work instructions for automated equipment.
  • Participate as a team member on automation and process improvement projects.
  • Work directly with hardware/software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Comply with all cGMP, EHS, and site security requirements.
