Worker Type:

Employee The Security Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation and support of enterprise and data center wide voice and data security solutions that align with the architecture and business models to achieve optimal solutions for Ensono and its customers. The Security Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Security solutions to include Security, Security/Threat, and Voice solutions; developing and maintaining Security documentation; developing and maintaining Security standards and guidelines; manage Security and security capacity planning; interacting and consulting with Ensono ENSG customers to collect required solution information; coordinating solutions with Ensono ENSG customers; and providing support for engineering design and implementation issues.

  • Regularly lead self and others and/or established as Product SME and/or established as specialist

  • The associate is involved in technical, development, or account related projects or processes that may be complex and/or critical to the company, organization, or unit.
  • The associate may be expected to utilize his/her technical (area of) expertise on fairly complex, high-priority projects and/or processes; OR
  • The associate may be expected to lead a fairly complex, high-priority project and/or process.
  • Contributes to product strategy for a specific product. Checkpoint, Crossbeam, etc...
  • Builds product business plans to drive revenue and rationalize investment.
  • Creates product road maps and writes user stories and requirements.
  • Partners with other engineering teams to ensure product strategy and requirements are aligned with development strategy and to orchestrate product development.
  • Engages delivery organization to ensure product operations and delivery capabilities are addressed.
  • Communicates project status to clients. Measures and assesses client satisfaction.
  • Participates with various teams regarding security projects, change tickets, and trouble tickets, etc. Assists in the evaluation of issue priority and provides front line response to various internal groups regarding product and solution support.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have direct reports but may mentor less experienced associates in the role.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of related security experience or equivalent industry certifications
  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Advanced, Knowledge of routing and switching protocols to include security policy setup and threat protection.

Preferred

  • Advanced, Knowledge of routing and switching protocols to include security policy setup
  • Desired certifications: CCNA,CCNP, GSEC, CISSP, GCIA, GCFW, Checkpoint or other security certifications.
