Job description

Salesforce OmniStudio & CPQ Jr Technical Architect/ Hands On Tech Lead

Location: Onsite based in Frisco, TX OR Bellevue, Washington required

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports engineering projects by developing Salesforce software solutions, conducting tests and inspections, and preparing reports and calculations. Encouraged to supervise associate engineers on occasion.
  • Understand system protocols, how systems operate, and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits. Encouraged to independently develop a full software stack. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work. Independent study of current technology.
  • Present project improvement scenarios to management for consideration.
  • Monitor and influence relevant industry technologies and standards.
  • Present highly technical concepts to both technical and non-technical decision-makers.
  • Continuously learns, builds content, and teaches others specific subject areas.
  • Informally coaches and contributes to the development of others through mentoring or in-house workshops and learning sessions. Develops engineers across functional teams on technology decisions.
  • Develops, designs, and implements new ideas that utilize new frameworks to improve an existing or new system/process/service.
  • Investigative independent study and problem-solving for non-routine tasks.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Salesforce experience 10+ years
  • Salesforce Architecture 3+ years
  • Comfortable being 80% hands on work
  • 5-7 Years of OmniStudio experience
  • 5+ years of Industries CPQ experience or good experience in Revenue Cloud Advanced (newly launched by Salesforce)
  • Must be able to work in offer 5 days based in Frisco TX or Bellevue Washington
  • Agentforce implementation experience strongly desired (1 or more projects)
  • Expertise in Apex, JavaScript and Lightning Web Components.
  • Experience with configuring and improving Salesforce Industry CPQ solutions.
  • Experience developing UI components using Aura Bundles and LWC.
  • Knowledge of Heroku and custom application development
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs, SOAP, third-party integrations, and cloud-based services.
  • Experience with performance optimization and debugging tools.
  • Experience working with multi-functional teams such as design, product, and data teams to deliver phenomenal user experiences.
  • Understanding computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms to ensure consistency with software engineering standard methodologies, including object-oriented and functional programming.
  • Candidate must have good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills and an openness to learning new technologies.
  • Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work well alone and with others. Must be able to successfully handle multiple priorities simultaneously, as required.
  • Additional Note: Industries CPQ experience will be a high focus area as Ordering will ramp up and consume 60-65% of our deliverables.
