Job description

Immediate opening for a SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER at Hornady Manufacturing in Grand Island, NE. This position works in the Hornady Sales Department to provide account care and customer service to existing and new accounts.
Essential Functions (perform or provide assistance for the following):
•Provide inside sales and customer service to incoming phone calls
•Accept and enter orders into sales system. Monitor orders and shipments and make adjustments where necessary.
   May include Law Enforcement/Military and International orders/shipments
•Work with the Sales Managers and Sales Director as well as the sales force to determine key products for the market to increase sales
•Utilize Hornady ERP system and various sales programs
•Assist in management of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage business relationships and associated data
•Work closely with Sales and Technical Service departments’ personnel to accomplish daily to annual sales entry goals and the highest level of customer service satisfaction
•Continually build skills and knowledge of new sales technologies; share expertise with others

Ideal candidates will have Sales and Customer Service Experience. Advanced Level of Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience preferred. Must be detail-driven, possess initiative, strong written and verbal communications skills, and have the ability to work well within a team environment. Ability to work M – F 45+ hours and will have some opportunity to travel (<10%). Full-time position with comprehensive benefit package available.
