Classified Cybersecurity Analyst – Top Secret, ElSegundo, CA

NorthropGrumman seeks a classified cybersecurity professional to support information systems lifecycle activities at our ElSegundo, CA location. The role requires an on‑site, full‑time commitment and a minimum Current DoD Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave, identifying deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy through passive evaluations such as compliance audits and active evaluations such as vulnerability assessments.
  • Enforce program control processes to mitigate risks and support certification and accreditation of systems, including process support, analysis, coordination, security certification testing, documentation, investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections, and periodic audits.
  • Assist in implementing required government RMF policy (e.g., ICD503, JSIG, DAAPM), make recommendations on process tailoring, and participate in and document process activities.
  • Perform analyses to validate established security controls and recommend additional security requirements and safeguards.
  • Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre‑test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of results, and preparation of required reports.
  • Assist in completing all associated Assessment and Authorization activities, including RMF Body of Evidence (BOE) documentation: System Security Plan (SSP), Security Controls Traceability Matrix (SCTM), Control Family Security Operating Plans (SOPs), Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) Plan, Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M), etc.
  • Ensure recurring cybersecurity SOW is completed, including auditing, configuration management, hardware inventory, software inventory, user training, POA&M updates, ConMon checklists, self‑inspections, etc.
Basic Qualifications
  • Master’s degree with 0 years of experience; or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience; or Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 6 years of experience.
  • Current DoD 8570 IAM levelI (or higher) security certification (e.g., CND, Cloud+, Security+ CE).
  • Current DoD Top Secret clearance (minimum).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security.
  • 3 years of experience with Certification & Accreditation of classified systems under RMF.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI, SAP/SAR access, or Polygraph preferred.
  • Knowledge of ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA&Ms, NIST, JSIG, system audits, vulnerability scanning, and/or RMF package development.
Benefits & Compensation

Salary range: $89,400.00 – $134,200.00 (gross). Compensation may be adjusted based on scope, responsibilities, and candidate qualifications. The role may include overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and potential long‑term incentives for senior positions.
