Job description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Claims & Risk Analyst to join our team.
This role is a hybrid position that involves managing workers' compensation, auto, general liability, and all other insurance claims, as well as participating in our incident management process. You will ensure compliance with varying state regulations, maintain effective communication with vendors, employees, and insurance carriers, and analyze claims data to identify trends and improve processes.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong analytical capabilities, payroll and business finance understanding, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Responsibilities
  • Administer workers' compensation, auto, general liability, and other claims from initiation to resolution.
  • Interface with insurance partners, legal, and senior leaders as a leading resource for claim status, insurance practices.
  • Implement, improve, and manage systems for broad adoption, reporting, and data consolidation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and claimants regarding workers' compensation, auto, general liability and all other claims.
  • Ensure and monitor that all claims are handled in compliance with state regulations and company policies.
  • Analyze claims data and prepare reports to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, suggesting new KPIs.
  • Support digital OSHA recordkeeping practices, and database analysis, support (ex. training records, vehicle inventories).
  • Lead medical providers, rehabilitation specialists, auto repair shops, and other vendors to coordinate services for claims. Set up new relationships (Ie. In-network occupational health clinic in new markets).
  • Monitor and assess costs associated with workers' compensation, auto, general liability and all claims.
  • Partner with HR to support benefits programs, modified work and return to work planning.

Qualifications
  • Proficient in incident/claims management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety/Health, Human Resources, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with claims administration and data analysis, preferably in workers' compensation, auto, general liability or property claims.
  • Holds relevant certification such as - Certified Risk Manager (CRM); Associate in Risk Management (ARM); Associate in Insurance Data Analytics (AIDA) - or willingness to pursue certification.
  • Experience communicating with all levels in an organization.
