Engineer Technician

Location: Fort Worth, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $23.50

About the Role

Adecco is seeking a motivated and hands-on Engineer Technician to support our client, a leader in advanced electronics and communication technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge Cable TV (CATV) head-end equipment and set-top box (STB) technologies in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy, quick learner who thrives in a technical, collaborative setting and enjoys solving complex engineering challenges.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot CATV head-end equipment in collaboration with corporate teams

  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to develop and implement test procedures for STB repair, cleaning, and screening processes

  • Support CTDI repair Branches by deploying tools and optimizing testing and repair workflows

  • Interface directly with customers to support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities for new STB models

  • Analyze technical requirements, system performance, and effort related to test systems and repair processes

  • Create and maintain technical documentation including:

    • Test procedures

    • Schematics

    • Process flowcharts

    • Project status reports

  • Provide technical support to local Branches and collaborate across multiple locations as needed

  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and engineering problem-solving

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required (Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred)

  • Internship or project experience in test engineering or related field

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Analog and digital circuits

    • Microprocessor systems

    • Audio, video, and CATV RF formats and circuitry

  • Familiarity with:

    • Cable TV (CATV) systems

    • DOCSIS technology

  • Knowledge of IP networking and Linux is a plus

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
