Experience working on products from design through build, bring up, verification, and validation;
Bringing-up, troubleshooting, characterizing, and collecting data of sensors, circuits, and system level designs;
Exposure to prototype and/or NPI cycles for high volume consumer electronics;
Demonstrating knowledge of system and/or board level design, as well as board/design bring-up and validation testing;
Contributing to design documentation including block diagrams, component selection criteria, schematics, technical requirements, and test plans;
Initiative to engage with team members, project managers, and vendors to coordinate with cross functional teams to develop and ship products for clients;
Problem-solving and adapting when changes occur to project scope, schedules, requirements, and team composition;
Knowledge of key areas of product design, production plans, and cross-functional product execution with consideration of downstream effects of design decisions, risk assessment, and mitigation plans in order to meet client expectations on performance, cost, and schedule;
Demonstrating an understanding of OrCAD/Allego or similar ECAD tools, MCU (microcontroller) and/or SoC (System on Chip), battery operated devices, common buses (some combination of I2C, SPI, USB, MIPI), common sensor/peripherals (accelerometer, temperature, Bluetooth/WiFi at system level, displays), as well as design, validation, and New Product Introduction (NPI) cycles for several products in the areas of battery powered applications, wearable devices, wireless, IoT, and audio and medical devices; and,
Demonstrating knowledge of full cycle product development for at least one product, with an emphasis on some aspect of RF system design (UWB, LoRA, cellular), power supply design (buck/boost, switch mode power supplies), LTSpice or Pspice, and/or certification/regulatory testing (FCC, UL, reliability).

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
