Job Description
Position Summary:
The AutoStore associate is responsible for accurately stocking, staging, and replenishing materials in the AutoStore system using a handheld RF scanner. This role ensures efficient inventory flow by placing received items into the correct pick locations and supporting warehouse operations across multiple zones as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize handheld RF scanner to perform all assigned stocking and put-away tasks.
  • Receive product from dock drop-offs and accurately place items into designated AutoStore pick locations.
  • Assist in other operational areas including split case, blue bin staging, and RF put-back zones.
  • Identify and report inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Operate powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment, such as a walkie rider, upon training and certification.
  • Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain reliable and consistent attendance; punctuality and presence are essential.
  • Work overtime as required to meet business demands, including weekends or extended hours.

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse or stocking experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to use RF scanners and learn inventory management systems.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to [insert weight limit] lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work in multiple areas and flexible shifts as business needs require.
  • Must complete PIT (Walkie Rider) training and certification upon assignment.

Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures.
