Life as a Restaurant Supervisor:

  • Direct the restaurant in the areas of product quality, service and profitability of the restaurant.
  • Active supervision in the restaurant and the selected candidate will work a variety of AM and PM shifts.
  • Oversees the scheduling, training, and development of our food and beverage front of the house team ensuring excellent service to our guests.
  • Expected to have direct involvement with guests and employees. This is a hands-on position that requires active, vigorous leadership, including maintaining a professional and ethical image for the Restaurant.
  • Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met.
  • Inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies.
  • Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness.
  • Complete scheduled inventories and stock and required necessary supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact to all employees.

What we're looking for:

  • College degree is preferred. Bachelor of Science degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.
  • Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
