Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:


  • Designing and implementing modifications to existing electrical, robotic, and PLC automation equipment to improve uptime and reliability
  • Troubleshooting controls and automation systems and driving equipment improvements
  • Managing projects, suppliers, and new process equipment while keeping projects on schedule and within budget
  • Coordinating major maintenance, emergency repairs, and corrective actions
  • Supporting continuous improvement and capital projects
  • Leading and mentoring others through troubleshooting, equipment design, and automation development


What you need to have:


  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field
  • 7+ years of automation experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal
  • Knowledge of Profibus, Profisafe, Safety Integrated, and ASI-Bus
  • Ability to create and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
  • Familiarity with risk assessments and safety evaluations


Bonus points if you have:


  • Masterโ€™s degree in Engineering or MBA
  • Experience with FANUC Robots, FANUC Vision, Cognex Vision, and Atlas Copco tools
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and safety codes
  • AutoCAD experience
