Quality Assurance Documentation Associate
Undertakes activities to maintain the highest possible commitment to quality line documentation for The Visual Pak Waukegan Company

Position Responsibilities-Tasks-Deliverables
  • Assist with the preparation of the production of documents needed, training materials, etc.
  • Provide support to QA Associates and Production teams by assisting with line verifications, conducting quality checks on truck shipments, and addressing other QA-related needs as time permits.
  • Track, record, and compile data associated with the document control process.
  • Manage, file, and organize quality assurance documentation.
  • Participate in investigations regarding quality concerns.
  • Assist in the reporting of quality issues.
  • Work as part of the Safety Committee to improve plant safety.
  • Prepare and create case labels, placards, and pallet tags for production.
  • Upload data to video jets.
  • Communicate changes on the production floor to the Quality Team.
  • Able to print ERP production reports.
  • Demonstrates effective time management skills to provide support on the production floor as needed, while ensuring all documentation responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Remove obsolete versions of the worksheet and replace it with the current version.

Knowledge-Skills-Abilities
Education:
  • H.S. Diploma or GED

Experience:
  • 1 - 3 years clerical or QA experience
  • 1 years' experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

Technology/Software:
  • Demonstrated Microsoft office proficiency (Word & Excel)
  • 1 - 2 years WHM system experience strongly preferred

Communication:
  • Communication skills in both English and Spanish (2nd Spanish preferred)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of personnel.

Physical Capabilities
Strength: Ability to lift to twenty pounds.
Movement: Ability to stand for long periods of time
Hearing: Reasonable capacity to accept work direction or training in a loud, busy environment.
Vision: Reasonable capacity so as preform job duties, understand work resources, and work environment.
