Job Description

Travel: 5%, Preferred location based on role requirements - Mid-Atlantic (MD, VA, DC, CT)

Privia's VBC Operations Sr. Manager acts as a value-based care strategist, operator, and subject matter expert in Quality to Privia's Mid-Atlantic market. This position will work closely with Privia's Population Health team, Performance Management team, and Chief Medical Officers to improve VBC performance and operational execution. The VBC Operations Sr. Manager owns the management of Privia's Population Health strategies that are designed to move practices further into value-based care, which includes understanding of MIPS, MSSP, and MA STARS programs, and commercial value-based care programs. The Sr. Manager will oversee and manage the Population Health Advisor team and the Clinical Quality Associate team.

  • Drive clinical quality strategy by aligning contract requirements with performance opportunities; serve as the internal subject matter expert (SME) on key clinical quality metrics.,
  • Lead strategic projects that advance core Population Health initiatives across quality, cost, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead team of Population Health Advisors and Clinical Quality Associates in implementing market-specific strategies to achieve population health goals and targets.
  • Resolve barriers to operational execution across both teams to improve efficiency and provide clear resolution.
  • Influence physician leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and / or approaches and continue growing and sustaining positive, collaborative relationships.
  • Support teams in the development of functional, regional- and POD-specific strategies, action plans and organizational priorities.
  • Design and implement workflows to achieve quality outcomes, partnering with internal teams to build process documentation for HEDIS measures.
  • Manage payer relationships and collaborate with external payer teams to drive clinical quality outcome strategies.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the organization’s EHR to support physician specific workflows.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Public Health, Business Management, Healthcare Administration or relevant program highly preferred OR Equivalent relevant experience
  • 4+ years of relevant working experience, including people management.
  • Knowledgeable about population health management and value based care.
  • People management skills with experience in mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced and changing work environment.
  • Experience with data collection and document management.
  • Healthcare experience required; Experience with Quality programs such as MSSP or HEDIS strongly preferred.
  • Must reside in the market of assignment unless otherwise agreed upon with the Market President.
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations.

The salary range for this role is $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% & Restricted Stock Units. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
