Job description

Lapeer area high precision, high volume machining company is looking for skilled Pack Room/Quality Control Inspectors to join their team. This is an automotive parts manufacturing facility. 1st and 2nd Shift available. Pay is based on experience, starting at $15-16 per hour. Candidates must submit an up-to-date resume to be considered. 1st Shift 5:30AM - 4:00PM and Second Shift 4:30PM- 3:00AM. Mandatory overtime is required most weeks, including Saturdays. Some manufacturing and quality control experience is needed.

Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Inspects, tests, or measures materials, products, or work for conformance to specifications.
• Measures dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
• Records inspection such as quantities inspected or graded.
• Marks items with details such as grade or acceptance-rejection status
• Other duties as assigned
