Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of benefits and ERISA claims with a focus on single plaintiff ERISA litigation.

  • Federal court litigation skills are a plus

  • ERISA or complex commercial litigation experience is preferred

  • Experience with complex e-discovery is preferred

Skills and Educational Requirements:

  • JD from accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials

  • 3+ years of experience in benefits, class, or other types of sophisticated litigation preferred

  • Current Louisiana Bar admission

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
