Job Description:
At Regions, the Project Specialist conducts simple, short duration projects led by line of business management.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Plans and coordinates project scheduling, budgeting, and administrative tasks tied to project(s)
  • Assists in development of presentations along with generating reports
  • Communicates between the client and various teams by setting times and dates for meetings to keep on schedule, and relaying any issues with timelines, budgets, etc.
  • Shares relevant documentation and reports
  • Acts as point of contact for various working groups
  • Retains knowledge of project scopes, timeframes, financials, and outcomes
  • Ensures the availability of resources and equipment
  • Understands formal escalation and review processes
  • Provides information and support to team, project managers, and/or business leaders
  • Handles thorough project documentation
  • Offers advice and guidance to less experienced specialists on occasion

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Four (4) years of related experience
  • Experience in administrative and/or project team support

Preferences
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
