Job description

We are currently seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful coordination and profitable outcome of every project.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as the onsite focal point for correspondence from internal and external entities regarding inquiries such as request for information (RFI), architects supplemental instructions (ASI), and other critical tasks.
  • Keep project managers informed of all responses and escalate any unresolved issues.
  • Ensure proper preparation, organization, and electronic transfer of project paperwork to Project Coordinator for download into project management software.
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries with jobsite foremen and schedule deliveries with Intel security.
  • Coordinate collection of operation and maintenance manual information for distribution to project Coordinator for assembly.
  • Copy vendors, subcontractors, and internal customers on proposed changes, RFIs, and ASIs.
  • Prepare and secure transmittals for all items sent from the office.
  • Attend various meetings as required, including head start meetings, turnover meetings, project management meetings, and production meetings.
  • Assist in processing "time and material" billings and monthly review for AIA billings.
  • Attend monthly projection meetings with assigned project manager.
  • Review specification sheets, assist in subcontractor control, and manage rentals for assigned projects.
  • Fill out and log daily plans of action (POA) and safety paperwork as required by Project Manager.

Essential Skills:
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
