As our site development work continues to expand, we are adding a Site Development Civil Engineer to our team in St. Joseph, Missouri.

You’ll contribute to a wide range of site development projects while building the technical and professional skills needed to grow your career.


What You’ll Do

  • Contribute and support in the planning, design, and development of site development projects for public and private clients
  • Lead and assist in preparing site plans, grading, drainage, and utility designs
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates
  • Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal design teams
  • Stay involved throughout the full project lifecycle — from concept through construction
  • Participate in and oversee the problem-solving and design discussions to deliver practical, high-quality solutions

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting or related civil engineering work
  • Interest or experience in site development and site plan design
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure (Missouri and/or Kansas preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset with the ability to contribute independently
