Department: Information Technology/Administrative

Functions: To provide IT related end user support, provide customer service on company supported applications and platforms, troubleshoot problems, and advise on the appropriate action.

Relationships: Reports to the Information Security & Technology Director

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, phone, or remotely.
  • Respond to and update help desk tickets promptly and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT related hardware and software issues.
  • Research questions using available information and resources.
  • Advise and assist end user on appropriate action.
  • Follow standard Help Desk procedures.
  • Inform management of recurring problems.
  • Stay current with relevant technologies and solutions.
  • Collaborate with Management teams regarding projects.
  • Manage Company inventory.
  • Any other tasks deemed necessary by Management.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

Must be available to work 40-45 hours a week and be available on weekends and evenings as needed. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11, Active Directory and Windows File and Print Sharing required (experience with Apple devices helpful). Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. Working towards an Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System or similar degree path is preferred. CompTIA A+ or greater certification is preferred, as is previous IT work related experience. Must have ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions. Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Must have professional personal appearance. Must have a valid Indiana driver’s license and good driving record.

Working Conditions:

Will move about the dealerships to work with employees. Will work with computers in an office setting, including paperwork. Will stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and/or reach. Will be exposed to noise, dust, and/or exhaust fumes. Will interact responsibly with hazardous materials.
