Position Summary
This is an attending physician/associate/professor of clinical psychiatry position that involves program administration, provision of clinical care, supervision of residents, and education of students and residents in psychiatry.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee an interdisciplinary team of clinicians providing both inpatient and outpatient care in the Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program.
  • Attending physician on adult inpatient psychiatric unit, consultation-liaison service and in outpatient clinic.
  • Supervise residents on inpatient, outpatient, and CL services.
  • Serve as on call attending in rotation with other adult attending physicians.
  • Teach medical students and residents both on clinical rotations and in didactics.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

  • Minimum Qualifications
    MD Degree
    Must possess or be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Illinois and an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license, and must be Board-certified or Board-eligible in Psychiatry.
