Job Description: The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Under the direction of the Manager, the Clinical Coordinator integrates knowledge, skill and research into the development and delivery of quality, client centered care. The incumbent will provide visible, proactive leadership and promote the delivery of client centered care to the patients and families served by the Geriatric Services Resource Team. In collaboration with their Manager, the Coordinator is responsible for assessing the needs of the program, its staff and clients by planning, implementing and evaluating its day to day function. The Coordinator will use a consultative approach and research findings to provide support to health care professionals as appropriate.

Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience
- Requires experience in program/resource development related to needs assessment.
- Experience in case management

- Ability to be self-directed
- Knowledge and application of quality improvement principles, tools, and outcomes
- Knowledge of the impact of social/economic/cultural issues on chronic disease
- Knowledge in LEAN management system

Other Education & Training:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
