GENERAL FUNCTION
The Senior Production Technician provides support to assist the team in meeting the daily production goals as established by the team leaders and management of each facility.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs any necessary processes, calibration, preventive maintenance, safety checks, and conformance testing as directed to produce quality prescription eyewear in accordance with work instructions.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area.
  • Identifies quality, process and work flow problems.
  • Segregates non-conforming product or material.
  • Works at Technician levels (Associate, Production and Senior) within surface and/or bench, as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Worked at the Production Tech level for a minimum of 2 years
  • Obtained the highest training status available in 5 qualified functions with at least 2 Senior Production Technician level functions, 1 Production Technician level functions (or higher), plus 2 Associate Production Technician level functions (or higher).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
