ย The Product Line Manager is responsible for driving the growth, profitability, and market leadership of the Flamco product portfolio throughout North America. This role serves as the subject matter expert for hydronic system efficiency solutions, including expansion vessels, pressurization systems, air and dirt separation, vacuum degassing, hydraulic separation, and related technologies that improve HVAC system performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.


The Product Line Manager works closely with sales, engineering, marketing, operations, and customers to develop product strategies, support market adoption, identify growth opportunities, and position Flamco as a leader in sustainable hydronic system solutions. This individual plays a key role in supporting Aalberts hfc's mission of enabling high-performance, energy-efficient buildings through innovative hydronic technologies.


The successful candidate combines strong technical knowledge of hydronic HVAC systems with commercial leadership, market insight, and a passion for solving customer challenges.

Requirements

Strategic Product Leadership
  • Develop and execute growth strategies for the Flamco product portfolio, including expansion vessels, pressurization systems, air separators, dirt separators, vacuum degassing systems, hydraulic separators, and related hydronic efficiency products.ย 
  • Own the product roadmap and lifecycle strategy from market introduction through phase-out.ย 
  • Identify opportunities to increase adoption of energy-efficient hydronic solutions across commercial HVAC applications.ย 
  • Support new product launches and ensure products achieve targeted revenue, profitability, and market penetration goals.ย 
  • Collaborate with global product management teams to align North American market needs with future product development initiatives.ย 
  • Evaluate emerging industry trends, regulations, and building performance requirements that impact hydronic system design and operation.ย 
Market Development & Customer Engagement
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and market expert for assigned product lines.ย 
  • Build relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, OEMs, distributors, and manufacturer representatives to understand market needs and identify growth opportunities.ย 
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support product positioning and investment decisions.ย 
  • Monitor industry trends related to energy efficiency, sustainability, decarbonization, electrification, and hydronic system optimization.ย 
  • Support specification growth by promoting best practices for hydronic system performance, reliability, and lifecycle cost reduction.ย 
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, customer meetings, and technical conferences to promote Flamco solutions and gather market intelligence.ย 
Product Management & Business Performance
  • Manage pricing strategy, product positioning, profitability, and lifecycle planning for assigned product lines.ย 
  • Review sales performance, market share, and business trends to identify growth opportunities and corrective actions.ย 
  • Partner with operations and supply chain teams to align inventory levels, lead times, and product availability with customer demand.ย 
  • Develop business cases and market assessments to support product investments and portfolio decisions.ย 
  • Maintain accurate product information and ensure alignment across all sales, marketing, and operational channels.ย 
Technical Leadership & Training
  • Serve as the technical and commercial leader for the Flamco portfolio throughout North America.ย 
  • Develop and deliver product training programs for employees, manufacturer representatives, distributors, engineers, contractors, and customers.ย 
  • Support specification efforts by educating the market on proper application of air removal, dirt separation, pressurization, expansion control, and hydronic efficiency solutions.ย 
  • Collaborate with application engineering and marketing teams to develop technical tools, calculators, case studies, and educational content.ย 
  • Assist in the creation of technical articles, white papers, presentations, webinars, and product literature.ย 
  • Provide technical support and guidance for strategic projects, key customer opportunities, and product-related challenges.ย 
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to execute product strategies.ย 
  • Support strategic customer visits, project reviews, and key account initiatives.ย 
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for portfolio expansion, market penetration, and specification growth.ย 
  • Partner with global teams to communicate North American market requirements and customer feedback.ย
