Job Description

Telemundo Arizona is seeking a creative, driven, and detail-oriented Commercial Promotions Producer to develop, plan, and execute local marketing, branding, promotional, and sales initiatives.

This role is responsible for producing high-quality content from concept through completion, including writing, shooting, editing, and graphic production. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple projects, collaborates effectively with clients and internal teams, and demonstrates strong ownership, accountability, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce television commercials, station promos, and integrated marketing campaigns from concept to final delivery
  • Collaborate with account executives, clients, and internal teams during pre-production and planning
  • Write scripts, develop storylines, and coordinate voice-over, music, and visual elements
  • Shoot video on location and operate professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Set up and manage lighting and audio gear (lavaliers, wireless, handheld, shotgun microphones)
  • Edit content using Adobe Premiere Pro and other Adobe Creative Cloud tools (After Effects, Photoshop, Audition)
  • Handle post-production workflows, including logging, rough cuts, audio mixing, graphics, voice-over, and sound design
  • Ensure all productions meet quality standards, deadlines, client expectations, and broadcast requirements (including legal disclaimers when needed)
  • Produce OTT and digital content, as well as sales-driven segments and special projects
  • Write and edit promotional content, including tune-in spots, headlines, and teasers
  • Ensure accuracy in graphics, spelling, and on-screen messaging
  • Manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Prepare music cue sheets as required
  • Support station promotions, community events, and activations as needed
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3–5+ years of experience in video production, promotions, or a related field preferred
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and editorial judgment skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition)
  • Experience with camera operation, lighting, audio, and post-production workflows

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have an active Driver’s License and clean driving record
