About the Role
Join Lockheed Martin as a Quality Assurance Engineer in Grand Prairie, TX, supporting the high-impact PrSM Program. Take charge of quality processes, drive strategic initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic hybrid work environment. This position is ideal for seasoned quality professionals seeking meaningful career advancement and opportunities to work on cutting-edge defense projects.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and support quality initiatives across Lockheed Martin sites and supplier locations
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and execute complex projects to resolve recurring quality challenges
  • Identify process gaps, implement solutions, and champion lean continuous improvement
  • Travel to various sites and suppliers (up to 50%) to address program issues and ensure compliance
  • Interface with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams on all quality-related matters
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to develop robust inspection methods and work instructions
  • Oversee non-conforming product disposition and conduct thorough failure investigations
  • Develop inspection plans and perform First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102 standards
