Job description

Fulfillment.com, a leading 3rd party logistics provider, is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst/Associate Product Owner to join our growing Technology team.

The Associate Product Owner / Business Systems Analyst serves as the functional owner and subject matter expert (SME) for our internally developed core logistics application. This Product Owner–lite role blends application support, business analysis, configuration, and testing within a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) environment. Operating in a hybrid model with an on-site presence, you will act as the primary bridge between logistics operations and the development team. The focus is on ensuring our technology effectively supports warehousing and order fulfillment, without formal ownership of urgent commitments or delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

● Product & Application Ownership

○ Serve as the functional owner of our proprietary logistics application

○ Maintain deep knowledge of 3PL processes, warehousing workflows, and order

lifecycles.

○ Represent operational intent and user experience in discussions with developers.

● First‐Line Application Support

○ Act as the primary point of contact for business users reporting issues or questions

○ Investigate and resolve issues related to configuration, data, or workflows

○ Clearly define and escalate defects or enhancement needs to developers

● Business Analysis & Requirements

○ Partner with stakeholders to identify supply chain software improvements

○ Translate needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

○ Provide functional clarification and guidance to developers during implementation

● Configuration & Functional Changes

○ Implement system changes using available application configuration tools

○ Understand when development is required versus configuration

○ Use SQL queries to investigate data mismatches and workflow blockers

○ Help monitor and map RESTful API flows between connected systems

● Testing & Quality Assurance

○ Test enhancements and fixes against specified requirements

○ Support and validate user acceptance testing (UAT) prior to production release

● Business–Development Bridge

○ Ensure seamless data flow between Order (OMS) and Warehouse (WMS)

Management Systems

○ Reduce rework through strong analysis, validation, and communication

Required Skills & Experience:

● Experience supporting or working with internally developed applications

● Strong business analysis and problem‐solving skills

● Ability to work closely with both business users and developers

● Clear communication with technical and non‐technical audiences

● 3–5 years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or systems analysis.

● Background working in a 3PL, warehousing, or supply chain environment

● Familiarity with Order Management (OMS) software

● Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). For example: Deposco, NetSuite,

Manhattan Associates, Logiwa, etc.

● Proficiency in writing basic SQL queries and exposure to AWS cloud environments

● Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and how systems integrate.

● Hands-on experience using Jira to write user stories and manage tasks

● Ability to translate complex warehouse floor issues into technical developer requirements
