Job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for a Warehouse Associate in Marietta, GA . This is a great opportunity to further your existing warehouse and logistics skills while learning new ones to assist you in your career. Responsibilities for a Warehouse Associate include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders for processing.

  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and shipped.

  • Assemble products and assist with inventory counts as needed.

  • Monitor daily pickups and deliveries, confirming loads arrive on time and in good condition.

  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.

Candidates for Warehouse Associate must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Dock or warehouse experience within the transportation industry.

  • Experience loading and unloading trailers.

  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

  • Experience using handheld scanners.

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs.

  • Steel-toed boots required.
