Job description

Responsibilities

Must be able to work Monday through Thursday at our Rosemont office.

Friday's remote

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet metrics including in-stock percentage, customer fill rate, order change rates, distribution center capacity, intercompany transfers and liability
  • Identify and resolve stock issues to ensure the distribution center has optimal inventory levels, focusing on minimizing shortage or overstock occurrences through analysis of data, review of safety stock levels, and evaluating contingency options such as internal transfers, line of supply changes, allocation to restaurants, etc. 
  • Collaborate with both internal and external key partners for successful execution of promotions and new item launches
  • Optimize costs by smoothing the inbound receiptsacross the week/month, working through capacity concerns, and avoiding costs such as spoilage due to ordering error
  • Track purchase orders from supplier toreceipt at distribution center. Adjust outstanding purchase orders as needed
  • Resolve product and transportation issues
  • Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 0 to 2 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 3 to 5 plus years of specific experience
