Job description

We are excited about a unique opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible physiatrist to join a dynamic group of well-established physiatry practice in beautiful Tampa Bay! This is an appealing and challenging position for the right candidate with interest in musculoskeletal medicine, electrodiagnosis, and general rehabilitation (inpatient, outpatient, acute care hospital consultations, SNF, and LTAC). We are seeking a General Physiatrist with one of the region’s best and oldest PM&R groups! This traditional team of PM&R docs, APPs and other clinical staff have served patients through all aspects of the rehab continuum across the Tampa/St Pete area, and they are looking to add another physiatrist to their team. This is primarily a general Inpatient rehab role, where you’ll have a dependable caseload of good rehab patients. Hospital consults are also available, as are some clinic days for follow-up visits. This group has built a great support system, so that they can assist each other with the goal of maintaining a balance between their professional and personal lives, in an era where there never seems to be enough time! The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our thriving team environment. This group takes immense pride in offering a supportive and inclusive workplace that values the expertise and contributions of every team member. As a physician-centric organization, the priority is the well-being and professional growth of the physicians running the practice. All physicians are employed by the group, provided with full benefits, and are offered a clear path to partnership. Tampa Bay is a vibrant and very desirable metropolitan area with a world class international airport. It is a major league city with easy access to all forms of outdoor recreation: golf, tennis, water skiing, white sandy beaches with cruises to the Caribbean and beyond from the Port of Tampa. We are also only an hour away from Orlando attractions. There are excellent private and public schools and several universities. Cost of living in Tampa is very affordable and an ideal place to raise a family.
