Job description

Our client is seeking a motivated Personal Banker to deliver excellent customer service, manage new account onboarding, and process commercial and consumer banking transactions.


Position Summary

The Personal Banker will manage the full cycle of new account creation, from initial customer contact through onboarding and ongoing relationship support. This role also includes working the teller line, completing wire transfers and other account transfers, and ensuring each customer receives a seamless banking experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Open and onboard new commercial and consumer accounts.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Process commercial and consumer banking transactions accurately.
  • Work the teller line and assist with routine teller transactions.
  • Complete wire transfers and other account transfers.
  • Respond to customer needs and provide excellent service.
  • Manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.


Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of personal banking experience.
  • Teller experience required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
