Enjoy a rewarding contract position for the 2026-2027 school year, working onsite near Abernathy, TX. This opportunity offers hands-on supervision for Clinical Fellows, creating an ideal setting for those just starting out as well as experienced professionals motivated by collaboration and growth.
As part of a dedicated educational team, you'll serve students from ECSE through 1st grade, supporting a variety of speech and language needs such as articulation, language development, and pragmatic skills. The campus, conveniently central for all students requiring services, ensures streamlined support with no AAC caseloads.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or associate's degree for SLPA candidates
  • Active SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA credential in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but highly motivated CFY candidates are welcome
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning atmosphere
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct speech/language assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy for articulation, language, and pragmatic deficits
  • Maintain progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student success
  • Manage a consistent caseload across the ECSE 3-1st grade campus
