Are you a passionate, mature christian leader who can inspire kids and their families to love Jesus and follow Him with joy? River City Community Church is looking for a full-time ministry pastor who's ready to step into something meaningful - shaping the next generation to passionately follow Christ and live life on mission. Our Associate Pastor of Children & Families leads a team of volunteer ministers to serve new borns through 5th grade with Sunday worship gatherings, and exciting weekly activities. Worship, biblical teaching, and small-group discipleship are at the heart of everything we do.

What You'll Lead

Weekly Rhythm & Events

  • Lead staff and volunteers to create fun, energetic, and spiritually engaging services and experiences - from weekly gatherings to VBS, camps, sports events and more.

Big-Picture Strategy

  • Develop a yearly ministry vision with clear strategies to help kids connect with God, grow in faith, and serve with their gifts.

Parent Partnership

  • Build strong relationships with parents so they feel equipped and encouraged to disciple their kids at home.

Team Development

  • Work closely with our ministry team to ensure consistent, meaningful discipleship for kids, students, and families throughout all milestone phases.
