Job description

Partner - Aerospace / Transportation Operator

Join Porsche Consulting, Inc.

At Porsche Consulting, strategy doesn't end on a slide — it begins there. We are the management consultancy of the Porsche brand, and we bring the same engineering precision, design ambition, and performance mindset to our clients that defines the cars in Zuffenhausen. Our promise is simple: Strategic Vision. Smart Implementation.

We are a global firm with over 900 consultants across Europe, the Americas, and Asia — yet in North America, we are still in build mode. That means real whitespace, real ownership, and the rare chance to shape a practice rather than inherit one. Our consultants don't hand off implementation to anyone else; we stay on the ground with our clients until the results are measurable, visible, and lasting.

What sets us apart is not just the Porsche brand — it's the freedom to move fast, the mandate to think boldly, and the culture to execute relentlessly. We hire people who are done waiting their turn and ready to build something that carries their signature.

Entry level: Management

Location: Atlanta

Tasks

Aerospace, Rail & Maritime — Where the Next Decade Will Be Won

The way people and goods move is being reinvented. Airlines are rebuilding their operating models after a decade of disruption. Cruise lines are scaling record fleets while redefining the guest experience. Rail operators are being asked to deliver European-grade reliability on North American infrastructure. And across all three, MRO providers are becoming the strategic bottleneck — and the strategic opportunity — of the entire ecosystem.

At Porsche Consulting, we look at these industries the way our engineers look at a powertrain: as a system. We advise operators, OEMs, MRO providers, and infrastructure players on the challenges that actually move the P&L — fleet productivity, turnaround performance, crew and maintenance operations, digital MRO, sustainability, and the operating models that make transformation stick.

Our North American ADT practice already serves marquee clients in aerospace, cruise, and rail — but our ambition is significantly larger than our current footprint. We are looking for a Partner who sees that gap not as a challenge, but as the most exciting entrepreneurial opportunity in consulting today: to build the go-to advisory franchise for Aerospace, Rail, Maritime, and MRO operators in North America — with the full backing of our global ADT cluster and the Porsche brand behind you.

Your Mission - This is not a role for maintaining a book of business. It's a mandate to build one.

As Partner – Aerospace, Rail & Maritime Operators, you will own and scale one of the most strategic growth fields in our North American practice. This is not a role for maintaining an established book — it is a mandate to build. You will shape the market positioning, own commercial results, and create a signature franchise for Porsche Consulting in operator and MRO businesses across NAR — backed by our global ADT cluster and the Porsche brand, with entrepreneurial freedom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and scale the Aerospace, Rail, Maritime & MRO operator business across North America
  • Own the sales pipeline, and strategic client portfolio for the practice area
  • Open doors at C-level with airlines, cruise lines, rail operators, MRO providers, and adjacent ecosystem players
  • Lead high-stakes pursuits — from opportunity shaping to proposal, negotiation, and closing
  • Represent Porsche Consulting externally via thought leadership, keynotes, and industry forums
  • Partner with our global ADT cluster (Europe, LATAM, APAC) to bring the full firm to NAR clients
  • Attract, develop, and retain top consulting talent; build a signature team culture
  • Serve as trusted advisor to client executives on strategy, operations, and transformation
Qualifications
  • Experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, currently at Associate Partner / Principal level or above, ready to take the next entrepreneurial step
  • Passion for operator businesses: airlines, cruise lines, rail, MRO — hands-on curiosity, not just deck-level exposure
  • Demonstrated ability to originate business independently — not just deliver assigned engagements
  • Proven success in a similar leadership role at a top-tier management consulting firm
  • Hands-on experience in Strategy, R&D, Operations Management, preferably in the Transportation sector
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: comfort with whitespace, ambiguity, and building from a strong but non-dominant market position
  • Minimum 8 years of total professional experience in both consultancy and transportation corporations
  • Impact orientation with focus on comprehensive implementation
  • Second language fluency in Spanish a plus
  • Willingness to travel across North America to engage clients and teams
  • Strong desire to mentor and assist in the professional development of colleagues

Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Porsche Consulting, Inc. (ie, H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), or any other non-immigrant status).

Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Porsche Consulting, Inc. or an affiliated Porsche North America business may not be eligible for consideration.
