Job Description Summary
Dauch is looking for an HR Business Partner to join our team. This role will support the Corporate Human Resources team at our World Headquarters location in Detroit, MI. This is an onsite position.
Job Description:
  • Provides HR expertise in employee relations, coaching, and workforce planning for assigned functional groups.
  • Partners with functional leaders to understand business goals and strategic initiatives that will impact people strategies and executes plans to support.
  • Supports and facilitates core HR processes supporting COEs such as Talent Management, Compensation, and Benefits.
  • Facilitates onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Coaches people leaders and associates.
  • Assists with HR compliance activities and maintains Human Resources Information Systems.
  • Supports organizational change activities.
  • Completes special Human Resources projects.
  • Maintains confidence and keeps information confidential.
  • Follows legal requirements by making sure adherence to requirements.
  • Contributes to human resources and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Psychology, or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR related capacity working in a global, medium to large organization. Experience as an HR business partner preferred.
  • Experience as an HR partner and/or talent acquisition, compensation, organization development and/or employee relations activities.
  • Knowledge of HR principles and procedures for compensation and benefits, employee relations, and personnel information systems.
  • Customer-centric approach to support associates, leaders and others to meet business needs.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite with emphasis on Excel.
  • Experience with Workday or other cloud-based HRIS platforms.
