Location: Muscatine, IA


Pay: $19.00 per hour


Weekly Pay

Monday-Friday

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM + potential overtime

Position Overview


We are hiring an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator for a food-grade warehouse in Muscatine, Iowa. This position is ideal for a dependable, safety-conscious operator who values a stable work history.


In this role, you will be responsible for moving inventory safely and keeping accurate records. Your daily work ensures that products are stored correctly and shipments leave the facility on time and damage-free.


Key Responsibilities


  • Operate a sit-down forklift and attachments safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments from trucks.
  • Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring accurate products and quantities.
  • Locate, move, and organize inventory to maximize warehouse space.
  • Follow all warehouse safety, sanitation, pest-control, and food-safety procedures.
  • Complete routine forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and keep a clean work area.


Requirements


  • 3-5 years of professional sit-down forklift experience
  • Stable employment history with demonstrated job longevity
  • Ability to pass a 7-year background check and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a physical examination and CRT physical stress test
  • Ability to occasionally lift 50-60 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and frequently mount and dismount a forklift
