What is the opportunity?

The Associate Operations Representative - Deposit Processing is responsible for processing routine data entry and on-line input of transactions using basic understanding of products/ processes and technology applications. This role focus is on meeting throughput targets with accuracy. This function has direct client impact through transactions processed, it is not a client facing role. This will be an 8:00am - 4:00pm position.

What will you do?

  • Process ATM batch content following established procedures.
  • Process Business/Commercial client cash/cheque deposits following established procedures.
  • Meets established throughput targets.
  • Fully understands and complies with privacy/confidentiality requirements and code of conduct guidelines.
  • Process and balance inbound ATM or Business Deposit cash/coin
  • Exercises due diligence in following operational risk policies, procedures


What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Previous Banking Experience and/or Entry level - 2+ years cash handling experience
  • Strong organizational & decision-making skills.
  • General math skills and accounting/reconciliation skills
  • Very good physical dexterity, key stroke speed and accuracy are important in order to effectively meet processing targets.
  • Possesses efficient and accurate data entry abilities

Nice to Have

  • Proficient communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Requires the physical lifting of work bag contents (max 20 lbs)
