Job description

Frontier Cooperative is seeking an Operations Associate to work at our Adams, NE location.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to, the following: loading/unloading grain & agronomy products, monitor & ensure high quality grain conditions in bins. Other duties to include, but not limited to, the following:
  • Operating company equipment as needed (payloader, bobcat, tractor, forklift).
  • Help with loading & unloading of grain & agronomy products.
  • Assists in delivery of agronomy products such as fertilizer, chemical and seed to customers.
  • Assists in monitoring and maintaining grain quality.
  • Conducts and helps manage grain and agronomy inventory.
  • Monitors and keeps supervisor apprised of inventory levels.
  • Assists with scale operations.
  • Performs general maintenance of buildings, equipment and vehicles, including necessary documentation.

Skills needed to be successful include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • The ability to think clearly, take initiative, & problem solve.
  • The desire to be involved in agriculture and work for a cooperative.
  • Physically, you must be able to climb in and out of a truck, climb ladders, bins/elevators, and open/close trailer hoppers.
  • This position requires you to occasionally lift 50 pounds up to 100 pounds.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Class A or B Commercial License with Tank/Hazmat endorsements. FC will provide the necessary ELDT Theory & Behind the Wheel training required for you to obtain your CDL License.
