The International College of Health Sciences (ICHS) is hiring a skilled Lab/Simulation Clinical Instructor to join our School of Nursing in Boynton Beach, Florida. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced nursing professionals to instruct and supervise nursing students in the skills lab and simulation environment, with a strong emphasis on high-fidelity simulation using Gaumard mannequins. Our faculty plays a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals, supporting ICHS' mission to deliver innovative and quality education.
Purpose
The Clinical Instructor provides direct supervision and instruction to nursing students during their clinical rotations in various patient care environments. This role ensures students develop practical skills, clinical judgment, and professional behaviors necessary for safe and effective patient care.
Responsibilities
Clinical Instruction & Supervision
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing students in clinical settings
  • Demonstrate and teach best practices in nursing care
  • Ensure student compliance with clinical site policies and procedures
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback and document student performance
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Curriculum Implementation
  • Collaborate with academic leadership to deliver clinical objectives aligned with course outcomes
  • Integrate evidence-based practices and current nursing standards into instruction
  • Participate in the development and evaluation of clinical curriculum as needed

Professional Communication & Collaboration
  • Serve as a liaison between ICHS, clinical site staff, and students

  • Complete accurate and timely documentation of student attendance, progress, and evaluations

  • Unencumbered Florida or Compact State RN License required
  • Minimum 4 years clinical experience as an RN required

  • Experience in clinical instruction, preceptorship, or nursing education preferred
