Job description

Program Network Engineer
Aurora, CO / Meridian, CO / Lone Tree, CO
ICR is looking for a Network Engineer who will provide end-user support both in-person at their physical work location and remotely for program networking and communication needs.
Potential 25% travel to stakeholder locations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide direct program support for locally installed equipment that is a mix between program-provided and ICR-owned equipment
  • Configure and maintain program equipment, working directly with the program equipment providers and ICR groups to include Facilities and IT.
  • Perform Communication Security protocols, aid in auditing activities and hardware tracking requirements to achieve and maintain accreditation
  • Generate and maintain documentation as needed for accreditation, program needs, and contract deliverables as directed.
  • Ensure end-users and systems adhere to Information Assurance (IA) guidelines and best practices
  • Provide on-call support after hours, as required, to support critical operations and identified exercises
  • Experience configuring, troubleshooting and running LAN's with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Red Hat and Microsoft is a plus.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SSBI and SCI access
    • US Citizenship required
    • Ability to achieve Special Access Program approval.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience as an IT professional in related/relevant networking environment
  • Ability to perform initial issue triage and troubleshoot
  • Experience configuring, troubleshooting and running LAN's with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Red Hat and Microsoft is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to design and integrate LANs with existing external networks
  • Experience working with multiple security domains
  • Current DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (example: Security+ CE) or ability to obtain within 2 months of start date

Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with networking and communication protocols to include any certifications relevant to the field
  • Associate's degree in Information Technology related field
  • Experience providing support in an environment with multiple isolated networks
  • Experience supporting a Microsoft Windows-based environment (Windows 10, Terminal Services, Active Directory)
  • Experience supporting Linux workstations and servers (RHEL 8/9, Ubuntu)
  • Experience reconfiguring network switches
  • Previous experience working SAP programs in the past
Salary Range: $150,000 – $200,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
