Job description

Job Title: IT Infrastructure Deployment Engineer (Site Operations)
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive IT Infrastructure Engineer to serve as a key technical resource for the deployment of new site technologies across our regional fulfillment and facility network. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and execution, ensuring that networking, telecommunication, and client/server integrations meet enterprise standards. You will collaborate with senior engineering teams and project managers to perform site assessments, configure hardware, and support the rollout of critical infrastructure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Deployment & Installation: Execute planning, testing, and deployment tasks for onsite technologies. Provide hands-on assistance during the installation phase to ensure all integrations are functional and audit-ready.
• Technical Due Diligence: Support the assessment of proposed projects to determine technical requirements and identify critical points of integration within the facility.
• Network & Systems Configuration: Perform basic to moderate configuration of infrastructure technologies, including voice/data circuits, wireless networks, and networking hardware.
• Documentation & Standards: Assist with testing new integration tools and methodologies. Maintain and update technical support documentation to reflect current infrastructure standards.
• Project Coordination: Work alongside senior Site Engineers and Project Managers to manage shifting priorities and minimize operational impact during technology refreshes or new site launches.
• Vendor & Peer Collaboration: Communicate effectively with outside vendors and internal IT teams to resolve complex integration challenges and meet aggressive project deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience: * 3+ years of experience in a medium-to-large enterprise environment focusing on technology integration and support.
• Hands-on experience with provisioning circuits (Voice and Data) and managing Wireless/Networking infrastructure.
• Technical Mastery:
• Moderate understanding of network and telecommunications architecture.
• Basic knowledge of client/server architecture and software development methodologies.
• Proficiency in MS Visio and MS Project for documentation and planning.
• Education: Associate's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Helpful Additional Skills: Familiarity with structured cabling, UPS systems, and telecom hardware.
Soft Skills
• Strong organizational and problem-resolution skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks across concurrent projects.
