Plano, TX

Bilingual- Korean/English

Position Summary

Monitors, maintains, troubleshoots, and supports enterprise network infrastructure at the Samsung Biologics manufacturing facility, ensuring high availability in a 24x7 manufacturing environment. Works with experienced engineers, handles daily requests, participates in on-call rotation, and supports network implementation projects.

Responsibilities

•  Maintain, troubleshoot, support Cisco switches/routers, PAN firewalls, F5 load balancers, Cisco wireless controllers/APs

•  Proactively monitor network performance to meet internal SLAs

•  Manage system requests/tickets including solution definition, deployment, documentation

•  Provide onsite and after-hours support; participate in on-call rotation

•  Assist in planning/executing infrastructure expansion, upgrades, equipment replacements

•  Execute lab tests for validating solutions, bug fixes, impact analysis

•  Coordinate with external vendors and ISPs for escalation, maintenance windows, RMA

•  Support inventory management, hardware staging, peer reviews, audits, IP assignment

•  Maintain documentation for LAN, Data Center, Wireless, firewalls, load balancers

•  Generate weekly operations updates and ad-hoc reports

•  Adhere to SOPs and change-control policies

Requirements

•  Associate's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

•  Current Cisco CCNA certification required

•  2–3 years hands-on experience supporting enterprise networks (switching/routing)

•  Solid understanding of OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, DHCP, NTP, SNMP, STP, VRF, IPv4 subnetting, 802.1x, TACACS+, Cisco IOS/NX-OS

•  Must live within 1-hour driving radius of Rockville, MD, with onsite flexibility

•  Strong sense of responsibility, team-oriented mindset, excellent instruction-following skills

Preferred Qualifications

•  Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load Balancer, or Cisco Wireless certifications

•  5+ years enterprise network operations experience

•  Unix/Linux and scripting (Python, Ansible) for network automation

•  Bilingual Korean skill highly preferred
