We have an exciting career opportunity for a Network Engineer to join our Technology Advisory team. This position is a hybrid position. Hybrid team members alternate between working remotely at the office, or client locations. This model encourages collaboration and creativity while still providing team members with flexibility.

What you will be doing

  • Design, implement, and support local and wide area networks with minimal supervision remotely and on site
  • Design, implement, and support Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments remotely and on site
  • Manage client relationships through regular check-ins, planning meetings, and proactive support
  • Coordinate with other team members to complete work as required by clients
  • Lead technical projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines and expectations are met
  • Perform network assessments, compliance reviews, and develop strategic IT plans
  • Act as primary engineer for assigned clients and a Secondary Engineer for others, serving as a reliable technical point of contact
  • Contribute to process improvements and help evolve our service offerings
  • Provide after-hours emergency support and planned maintenance as needed
  • Meet billable hour targets through project, support, and recurring work
  • Regularly travel to CT based client locations to troubleshoot problems or deploy hardware and software

What you must have

  • Associate degree in Computer Networking or related field from an accredited college or university and/or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum five yearsโ€™ experience working in a Microsoft Server Environment required
  • Minimum five years experience managing SMB business network environments
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 Environments
  • Microsoft server/M365 certifications or willingness to obtain them
  • Must have a valid driverโ€™s license (or equivalent legal authorization to operate a vehicle)
  • Must have access to reliable transportation to travel to various office and client locations as required
