Job description

Job Summary:
InterSources Inc is a Small, Woman, and Minority-Owned Business Enterprise with over 18 years of experience in IT Consulting Services. They are seeking a Network Administrator to coordinate daily assignments for the deployment and support of the Agency's critical enterprise architecture, ensuring network and identity services operate efficiently.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Support enterprise network and identity initiatives including SD-WAN deployment, PKI lifecycle management, and secure authentication services
โ€ข Monitor, identify, and remediate issues with Agency enterprise network and identity services
โ€ข Support network connectivity and authentication services on Windows-based systems
โ€ข Support connectivity and secure access on mobile devices (i.e., Apple devices)
โ€ข Manage the network and identity infrastructure lifecycle at all stages
โ€ข Create and maintain network documentation (e.g., diagrams, coverage, and design documentation)
โ€ข Assist with deployment, configuration, and support of SD-WAN, PKI, and secure authentication solutions
โ€ข Perform enterprise network deployments, installations, and upgrades
โ€ข Perform firmware/software/security/feature upgrades across network and identity platforms
โ€ข Monitor Agency trouble ticket system and complete assigned network, authentication, and connectivity tickets
โ€ข Will serve as the Agency's primary support resource for network and access-related (authentication) technical issues, troubleshooting and resolving most common/routine problems
โ€ข Assists Agency staff/contractors in resolving network, authentication, and connectivity-related problems
โ€ข Coordinate and assist with testing and validation of network and identity solutions
โ€ข Adhere to State and Agency security and IT policies and standards
โ€ข Work closely with key stakeholder groups, including Network, Security, and Server Hosting to ensure the appropriate level of engagement and focus is maintained
โ€ข Assists various IT groups with other tasks as assigned such as with system/network installations and upgrades (i.e. racking equipment)
โ€ข Create, maintain, and review/improve upon network and identity documentation
โ€ข Ability to plan, organize, review, and implement associated project milestones to completion
โ€ข Provides updates to Project Team
โ€ข Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 3+ Years of Experience with Enterprise Network Infrastructure and LAN Administration
โ€ข 3+ Years of Experience with Installing, Configuring, and Troubleshooting switches and wireless access points
โ€ข 3+ Years of Experience with SD-WAN, PKI, and secure authentication services
โ€ข 3+ Years of Experience with Troubleshooting network connectivity on Windows and mobile devices
โ€ข 3+ Years of Experience with creating, reading, and maintaining network documentation and diagrams
โ€ข Associates Degree in a relevant field of work or high school diploma with equivalent work experience
โ€ข Ability to perform on-site physical network work, including lifting 40 lbs and working on ladders
โ€ข Valid driver's license and ability to travel statewide to remote sites with a State OR Personal Vehicle
โ€ข Strong verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff
โ€ข Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Preferred:
โ€ข Any network or related certification by an industry leader such as CompTIA, Cisco, or Microsoft. (Please indicate whether certificate is active or inactive on resume)
