Full-Time Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer to design, implement, support, and optimize enterprise Microsoft 365 solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, and Microsoft Purview. This role will be responsible for maintaining a secure, scalable, and highly available collaboration environment while driving automation, governance, and end-user productivity initiatives.
 
Key Responsibilities • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including: ◦ Exchange Online ◦ Microsoft Teams ◦ SharePoint Online ◦ OneDrive for Business ◦ Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) ◦ Microsoft Intune ◦ Microsoft Defender ◦ Microsoft Purview • Design and implement M365 solutions to improve collaboration, communication, and productivity. • Manage tenant configuration, licensing, security policies, and compliance controls. • Configure and maintain identity and access management solutions, including: ◦ Single Sign-On (SSO) ◦ Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) ◦ Conditional Access Policies ◦ Identity Governance • Perform M365 migrations, upgrades, and integrations. • Develop automation solutions using: ◦ PowerShell ◦ Microsoft Graph API ◦ Power Automate • Monitor platform performance, availability, and security posture. • Troubleshoot complex M365 service issues and coordinate with Microsoft Support when necessary. • Implement data protection, retention, governance, and compliance policies. • Support endpoint management through Microsoft Intune and Autopilot. • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to strengthen M365 security controls. • Create and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and architecture diagrams. • Provide Tier 3 escalation support and mentor junior administrators.
Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of Microsoft 365 administration and engineering experience. • CompTIA Security+ certification • Strong experience with: ◦ Exchange Online ◦ Microsoft Teams ◦ SharePoint Online ◦ Entra ID (Azure AD) ◦ Intune • Experience managing enterprise-scale M365 environments. • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation. • Knowledge of Microsoft security and compliance solutions. • Experience with hybrid identity environments and Active Directory. • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
